Statewide Candy Sale
Each January, LYM holds its Statewide Candy Sale. The purpose of the sale is to offer the local church a way to provide scholarships for its students to attend Youth Convention and/or Youth Camp. There are cash incentives for students and for the individual at each church who heads up the sale. Any additional funds raised for LYM after bills have been paid and scholarships have been provided are used to further the ministry of LYM.
It usually begins the 1st Sunday of January, runs for one month, and concludes on the 1st Sunday of February. Candy is sent to the Sectional LYM Representative who will contact you to pick up your candy. Results and monies are due back to the LYM Rep one week after the sale ends.
LYM would love for every church in the state to participate, but we understand that on occasions, this is not possible. At those rare times when a church is unable to participate, some have decided to make a donation to LYM to help offset costs and provide resources.
